Latimore 1974 Detroit, MI Jumbo Globe Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising blues and R&B singer Latimore appearing at the 20 Grand Driftwood Lounge in Detroit, Michigan for "Eight Big Nights" starting on Friday, October 18, 1974.

Latimore was enjoying the biggest hit of his career at this very moment, the #1 R&B smash "Let's Straighten It Out," which is naturally mentioned on the poster. Although not a household name, Latimore was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2017.

Measures 22 1/4" x 30 3/4" and grades to Very Good condition. Most of the damage is along the top edge, especially above "Grand" in the form of tears, surface creasing which breaks the pink and black, mildew damage and a missing corner tip (upper left). Surface dirt and staple holes present, and scuffing to the surface which affects only the black lettering in the green box. COA from Heritage Auctions.
