Description

Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two Poster and Photos (1950s-60s). Johnny Cash first rose to fame with the backing of the Tennessee Two, Luther Perkins on electric "boom-chicka-boom" guitar and Marshall Grant on upright bass. Here's an original window card poster for this historic lineup, featuring a photo of a very young-looking Cash. It measures approximately 14" x 22", and is in VG+ condition, with moderate paper tanning and a few light stains. In addition, there are two black and white photo prints included, one a candid onstage shot of Cash, and the other a publicity shot of the revamped Tennessee Three, with added member W. S. Holland on drums. Both prints show slight discoloration on the back from being in a photo album, but are otherwise in Excellent condition. From the Betty Siegfried Collection.
