    Johnny Burnette/Dorsey Burnette Exhibition Building Concert Poster (1963). Extremely Rare. Window card printed on card stock for a ""Dance and Show" at Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, CA, on Sat. March 30th. The poster shows photos of four of the acts on the lineup, and lists some of their recent hits: "Gene Pitney / 'Town Without Pity", " Half Heaven, Half Heartache" / "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance""; "Johnny Burnette / "Dreamin', "Sweet Sixteen", "Little Boy Sad" / "Remember Me" and "Big, Big World""; "The Olympics / "The Bounce, "Big Boy Pete", "Hully Gully" / "By The Light Of The Silvery Moon"; and "Dorsey Burnette "Tall Oak Tree" and "Hey Little One". Printed by "Tilghman Press...Oak". Measures 16" x 24". In Very Good condition with tape marks and pinholes to corners, two tape marks to center edge, .75" tear to top edge, two .5" vertical tears to bottom edge, wear and creasing to corners, some surface scuffs.

    Early Rockabilly stars, brothers Dorsey and Johnny Burnette are both featured on this incredibly scarce poster. In 1952, they formed the Rock and Roll Trio with their friend Paul Burlison. Johnny was tragically killed in a boating accident in 1964.
