Jimi Hendrix Experience, Fillmore East, New York, Handbill/Postcard, May 10, 1968. Advertising a show at the legendary Fillmore East during the height of Hendrix's popularity, this trippy postcard measures only 4.25" x 6.5", but features some of the wildest psychedelic art ever seen. Perfect in its relative simplicity, the art is done in neon orange, yellow and purple, and shows the heads of Jimi, Mitch Mitchell, and Noel Redding within a circle, all of their Afros done in tiny circles, with purple and yellow waves in the background. It's like staring into the heart of the cosmos! The band played two shows at the Fillmore on Friday, May 10, 1968, with an unmentioned Sly and the Family Stone opening the sets! Near Mint.
