Jimi Hendrix Experience, Eric Clapton 1970 New York Pop Festival Concert Poster. An original large paper concert poster for a three-day "New York Pop" festival taking place at Downing Stadium in Randall's Island. You don't hear much about this festival nor this scarce poster, but it definitely took place. And like the pacing of most big, unwieldly festivals of 1969-70, Jimi Hendrix went on at 4:00 AM Friday night/Saturday morning.

Other big acts included Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Miles Davis jamming together, plus Steppenwolf, Jethro Tull, Van Morrison and Joe Cocker with Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
