    Description

Jimi Hendrix Experience 1969 Vancouver, B.C. Concert Handbill by David Byrd. An original B&W paper flyer promoting the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Thursday night, May 22, 1969. The artwork by noted poster artist David Byrd (Hendrix Fillmore East, original Woodstock Wallkill posters) shows Jimi, drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Noel Redding in Byrd's distinct style, including the ever-present naked women with long flowing hair. This show was canceled, however, under pressure from authorities following Jimi's Toronto drug bust earlier in the month. Measures 4 ½" x 6 ¾". In Mint condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
