Jimi Hendrix Experience 1968 Cincinnati, OH College-Campus Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising the Jimi Hendrix Experience with Soft Machine performing two shows at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday, March 28, 1968. We love the quaint wording at the bottom about mailing your money to "Jimi Hendrix Experience," including no zip code, and "Please Specify Which Show."

This boxing-style poster is obviously in direct contrast to the psych posters usually used for Jimi, and some collectors may be drawn to it for just that reason. Hendrix's big Hollywood Bowl show this same year used the same type of poster. This first-ever Heritage offering measures 14" x 22" and grades to Very Good condition. More Information: The board has lots of dirt and grime blemishing in the white margins in the top half, especially in the top margin itself, also going into the yellow a bit. All four corners are soft; only the upper right one has a mild diagonal crease, but it doesn't enter the yellow. No pinholes anywhere. The verso has four pieces of masking tape still on there, and a couple of tape lifts down below where an attempt was probably made to peel some off.
