Jimi Hendrix 1969 Boston, MA "Summerthing" Concert Handbill. An original paper concert flyer for a scheduled appearance by Jimi Hendrix in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday evening, September 18, 1969. "Summerthing" was a new Boston neighborhood arts festival, focused on bringing art, theater and music into the neighborhoods of Beantown.

For Jimi, this gig was going to be the start of a new tour, but alas, he pulled the plug not only on this show but the entire tour, not being up for it either physically or mentally. A highly attractive handbill due to its dominant pink color and picture of Jimi with a big smile. Measures 8 1/2" x 11" and grades to Mint condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
