Description

Jerry Garcia, Neil Young, Santana 1975 S.F. SNACK Benefit Poster Graded 9.8 (AOR-4.49). An original first-printing concert poster advertising a charity concert for San Francisco's public schools in the spring of 1975 benefiting SNACK... Students Need Athletics, Culture & Kicks.

Taking place at the huge Kezar Stadium during the daytime on Sunday, March 23, 1975, the show featured a stellar line-up of local acts that included the Dead's Jerry Garcia and Friends, Neil Young, Santana, the Doobie Brothers, Jefferson Starship, Joan Baez and her sister Mimi Farina, and many others including famous speakers. Jerry's friends included Merl Saunders and members of the Dead, and everyone's head was turned by the rare guest appearance of Bob Dylan, whose new album was Blood on the Tracks. Measures 11 3/4" x 21" and graded a delicious 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). COA from Heritage Auctions.
