Jerry Garcia 1983 Stony Brook University Concert Poster. An original concert poster, printed on blue paper, for Jerry Garcia playing a college gig in Stony Brook, New York on Sunday evening, December 4, 1983. The Grateful Dead had finished a tour in October, played no shows in November, and following this would play a New Year's Eve stand in San Francisco, as usual. Jerry's latest solo album had been Run for the Roses on Arista, featuring covers of the Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There" and Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." More Information: Poster has some surface blemishes, light handling creases throughout, a tape lift on the bottom center edge, and two pieces of cello tape remaining on the verso.
