    James Brown Winterland Arena Concert Poster (1966). Extremely Rare. Window card printed on card stock for a "Spectacular Shindig Show" in San Francisco on Tues. Jan. 11th. The poster features photos and hit song titles of most of the acts on the line-up including ""Mr. Dynamite" James Brown, As featured in the movie, "Ski Party", "I Got You", "Papa Got A Brand New Bag"; "The Famous Flames; Bobby Byrd, "Let Me Know"; T.V. Mama, "Take All Of Me" "James Crawford, "Got No Excuse"; Vicki Anderson, "Never-Never-Never"; Baby Lloyd, "Something On Your Mind"; The Jewels, "Opportunity"; and Parkettes, "Singing & Dancing Girls". Printed by "Tilghman Press...Oak". Measures 16" x 24". In Good condition, with significant fading, restoration and touchups, particularly to borders and corners, evidence of numerous pinholes.

    This is the only known example of this concert poster.

    This date on this poster coincides with the release of James Brown's album I Got You, I Feel Good which reached number two on the R&B charts.
