    Description

    Grateful Dead/Santana/Boz Scaggs Fillmore West "Closing Week" Concert Poster BG-287 (Bill Graham, 1971). Original oversized poster by David Singer for a series of shows dated June 30-July 4. Opening acts included Creedence Clearwater Revival, Quicksilver Messenger Service, It's a Beautiful Day, Elvin Bishop Group, Hot Tuna, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Tower of Power, Flamin' Groovies. The poster is signed by Singer in black ink to the lower right corner. Measures approximately 28" x 22". In Very Good Plus condition, with two small blemishes to the top edge.     To commemorate the closing of the Fillmore West (formerly the Carousel Ballroom) in 1971, promoter Bill Graham threw a week's worth of major shows, running from June 30 to July 4, 1971.
