    Grateful Dead/Merry Pranksters - Trips Festival Longshoreman's Hall Program AOR-2.41 (1966). This eight-page program is printed on blue and pink paper for a three-day Acid Test in San Francisco from January 21-23, 1966. The front shows a mandala design, with performances listed inside by various attendees including the Grateful Dead, Big Brother and the Holding Company and the Merry Pranksters. Measures 7" x 7". In Very Good Plus condition, with some surface creasing. There is a 1" x 1" black stain to the back cover. The program is accompanied by a business card for Bruce Conner, who designed the Mandala on the front cover of the program. Measures 3.5" x 3". In Near Mint Minus condition with toning to reverse.

    This important piece of counter culture ephemera chronicles the first official Trips Festival in San Francisco. More than 10,000 people attended the event, also included the first ever performance in San Francisco by the Grateful Dead.
