Grateful Dead 1967 Stockton, CA Small-Town Concert Poster. A delightful and primitive small-town concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing in Stockton, California - about 80 miles east of San Francisco - for a dance-concert on Friday night, April 28, 1967. Everything about this small poster suggests quaintness and informality. The poster artist John somebody certainly gets an A for effort. We also like the casual "Lights by Arnold" with an attempt at psychedelic lettering. Printed on thick paper, almost cardstock, this poster measures 11" x 17" and grades to Near Mint condition. More Information: Poster has a very light toning strip running down the right edge, getting bigger as it goes down. That's it. That dot you see in the upper right corner is not a pinhole, it's just a blemish, or actually – more likely – a printer's anomaly.
