    Description

Grass Roots/Big Brother and the Holding Company "Stone Facade" Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster #FD-11 (Family Dog, 1966). Rarely seen first printing of this early Family Dog concert poster, for a pair of shows held on June 3 and 4, 1966. At this point, opening act Big Brother and the Holding Company had not yet enlisted Janis Joplin as their lead vocalist; she would debut with the band just a few days later. This is a first printing poster on velum, measuring approximately 13.5" x 20". It's in Very Good Plus condition with some minor edge wear. As a bonus, this poster has been hand-signed by Family Dog head honcho Chet Helms and artist/designer Victor Moscoso (this was his first concert poster for the Family Dog collective).

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
