Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention 1974 Portchester, NY Concert Poster. An original purple and white concert poster for Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention appearing at the famous Capitol Theatre in Portchester, New York for two shows on Sunday evening, November 10, 1974. This was the year Frank had released his most commercially successful album, Apostrophe ('), featuring "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow" and his only one to ever reach into the Top 10 LPs in Billboard. Frank & the Mothers also released a live album this year, Roxy & Elsewhere.Has lots of fun wording, quotes and slogans throughout, including "Frank Zappa will perform a minimum of 2 ½ hours." Measures 17 ¾" x 14". In Near Mint condition with light creasing/bumping in the corners and a spot of toning on the verso. COA from Heritage Auctions.
