    Etta James/Wilson Picket Greensboro Coliseum Concert Poster (APO Shows, 1968). Extremely Rare. Jumbo window card printed in Dayglo red, blue and purple on card stock for 'The June Jamboree" on Sun. June 9. The poster features an outstanding R&B lineup, showing photos of all the acts and listing their latest hit record: Wilson Pickett, "She's Looking Good"; Arthur Conley, "Sweet Soul Music", "Funky Street"; Etta James, "I Got You Babe"; and Jojo Benson and Peggy Scott, "Lover's Holiday". Printed by "Globe Poster, Baltimore". Measures approximately 22" x 30.75". In Very Good Minus condition with 1.5" area of loss above Jo Jo Benson's image, upper right corner affected by water stain, tape mark to upper left corner, some staple holes, several nicks to lower edge, general toning and scuffs.

    This is the first time that Heritage has ever offered this poster. This is a wonderful example of an oversized multi-act poster by Globe. They produced some of the most memorable posters of the 1950s and 1960s, using dazzlingly bright colors for maximum impact.
