Elvis Presley 1972 Las Vegas Hilton 3:00 AM Concert Poster. An original glossy B&W casino poster advertising The King playing an "Extra Special Show by Popular Demand" at 3:00 AM on the morning of Sunday, September 2, 1972, on Labor Day weekend. Features a dynamic shot of Elvis performing on stage, and has a lot of urgency to it, with fans told to "Make Your Reservations NOW." Best of all for collectors, this specimen comes from the person who took the poster's photograph and helped put them up all over the casino. Printed on thick paper with the feeling of card stock, glossy on the front and flat mat on the back, this poster measures 16 1/4" x 19" and grades to Very Good Plus condition. More Information: Elvis was paid $27,500 just for this additional show. "Burning Love" was his new RCA single and was racing up the charts, where it would eventually get to #2. Everyone agrees that in 1972 Elvis was still completely on his game.

Condition details: Viewed straight-on, like it usually will be, there's only a very faint amount of light brown toning around the four edges. When tilted at an angle to the light for close inspection, the slick, glossy surface reveals a couple of harmless fingerprints on the Elvis photo, and a few small lines of indentation in the white area above the photo, like when someone writes in ballpoint pen on a sheet of paper above something else. But there's no words or numbers, just a few small lines, and they're certainly in the right place by being mostly in that bright, glossy snow-white.
