Description

Elvis Presley 1956 Satin Red Ribbon Press Pass. An original red-ribbon press pass for Elvis Presley's mid-50's concert tours, to allow access to restricted areas backstage and around the arenas. First used in 1956-57, Presley's tour management made them in different colors (red, green, yellow and white). This one is for the press and not many were printed; the most common doesn't have the white word "Press." The last time they used this pass was in 1961 for the Pearl Harbor benefit show, and that ribbon was white.

Measures 2" x 4 1/2" and grades to Very Good Plus condition. Clean on both sides, very little here to get damaged, but there is a ruffle in the material through & above the "EY" in "Presley." COA from Heritage Auctions.
