Elvis Presley 1956 Concert Ticket Stubs (2) w/Original Envelope. A pair of original concert tickets for Elvis Presley appearing at the Vets Memorial Building in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, May 26, 1956. The two green stubs have exactly what collectors always desire with a stub: the star's name completely intact, and these both clearly read "Elvis Presley Show," so that's a big win. Heritage has sold the handbill for this show on two occasions, and both times realized $8,750 for it. This lot also comes with the original ticket envelope and a little circular picture of the King. At this very moment, "Heartbreak Hotel" was the #1 single and Elvis Presley the #1 album in the country. Stubs measure 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" and grade to Very Good condition. More Information: Both stubs have fading to the back and one has little spots of additional residue. The envelope measures 4 ½" x 2" and grades to Good condition with much toning and creasing, and a small ¾" tear along the flap.
