Elton John 1972 Seattle, WA Concert Poster. An original vintage window card advertising a "One Show Only" performance at the Seattle Center Arena (torn down in 2017) on Friday night, October 20, 1972. With support act Family, the Elton John band - longtimers Davey Johnstone, Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson - were on tour behind Honky Cha^teau. Elton's current hit was "Honky Cat"; his most recent one had been "Rocket Man"; and his next one would be "Crocodile Rock." White-hot Elton, anyone? Measures 13 1/4" x 21 3/4" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: More information: Seeing the font used here, you might think this was from the Tumbleweed Collection tour cycle. But no, it's "Rocket Man," "Honky Cat," and "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" era. As usual, Elton shared his performance credit with his backing band.
Condition details: A large spot of toning, creasing, a smudge in the upper center portion, tape lifts on the verso, and lightly bumped corners.
