Duane Eddy, Dion & the Belmonts 1959 Portland, ME Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famers Duane Eddy and Dion DeMucci (with the Belmonts), plus four other talents performing in Portland, Maine on Wednesday afternoon & evening, May 27, 1959. A fun red, white, blue & black poster with a unique design and photos & song titles for all performers. Graphics & printing were carried out by the Murray Poster Printing Co. of NYC. You can tell this was still the 1950's because advance tickets were only a buck.

Dion's current single was the Top 5 "A Teenager in Love" (plugged nicely on the poster) and Duane Eddy's brand new 45 was the Top 10 "Forty Miles of Bad Road." Measures slightly under 14" x 22" and grades to repaired Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Board has been expertly addressed by Chameleon Restoration to alleviate tears and creases. As a result it has the tiniest bit of waviness, lying almost totally flat but not completely. There was once a big crease down the center of the poster which intersected the ampersand, "Duane" and "Dion," but it's all been carefully mended and color-matched perfectly where a little color might have been missing. Still some surface grime to the white and general overall toning.
