Donovan 1967 Seattle, Washington Concert Poster by John Moehring. An original black & silver psychedelic concert poster for pop star Donovan appearing in Seattle, Washington on Friday, September 29, 1967. Renowned poster artist John Moehring created the art for this poster, prominently featuring two females with long, flowing hair.

Radio station KOL and Northwest Releasing presented the concert, which also promised an "All Star Show" opening for Donovan. The Scottish singer-songwriter was on quite a roll at this point, with his last four hits in '66-'67 comprised of "Sunshine Superman" (with Jimmy Page on guitar), "Mellow Yellow" (with Paul McCartney on whispering vocals), "Epistle to Dippy" and "There Is a Mountain." Donovan also had the Top 20 album Mellow Yellow this year.

Measures 13 1/2" x 20 1/2" and grades to Very Good condition. The poster's black coated stock shows creases and scuffs very easily, and there are a few. Upper right and lower right corners have creases; there's also a surface crease by the right-hand girl's chin. There's also an edge crease on the left right by the statue. Light scuffing throughout. Verso has brown tape residue in six places, but not sticky. Also black-ink remnants of the poster printed just before it, a common occurrence. COA from Heritage Auctions.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
