DescriptionDavid Singer Byrds/Fleetwood Mac Fillmore Poster BG-210 Original Art (Bill Graham, 1970). David Singer's original collage and hand-lettered art on illustration board, dated 1969 and signed by the artist. In Excellent condition, 17" x 25.5". The final version of the poster featured white lettering against a dark brown background. David Singer was one of the later artists who worked on Bill Graham's original Fillmore posters, and his unique style, utilizing collage art with clean hand-lettered graphics, made for some of the best posters of the day. He remains one of the most creative poster artists of our time, and his current designs for for groups like Moonalice still retain that unique San Francisco vibe. Mr. Singer was a personal friend of the original owner of the Haight-Ashbury collection, and worked closely with Heritage in bringing it to auction. Unlike his name might suggest, he's truly an unsung great, and we're proud to present his original art. Requires third party shipping.
