Description

Country Joe and the Fish/Led Zeppelin Fillmore West Poster #BG155, 1/9-11/69 (Tea Lautrec/Bill Graham, 1969). Opening for headliners Country Joe and the Fish were the real stars of this show: Led Zeppelin, on their first tour of America. This was their second stateside gig, after a stint at L.A.'s Whisky a Go Go, and a month before their first album would be released on Atlantic Records. Also, the 9th of January is Jimmy Page's birthday! Opening the show was Taj Mahal, formerly of the Rising Sons. The poster measures 14" x 21.5"; all four corners show wear, and a minor 3/8" tear is noticeable on the left side. Still, this is nice copy of a hard to find historic item. VG.
