Country Joe And The Fish - Group Of Six Benefit And Protest Show Handbills (1967-69). The first is for a protest march to end the Vietnam War: "Joyful Alternative Peace Poets Dance" organized by the "Spring Mobilization Committee", at California Hall, San Francisco, April 15, 1967, artwork by Kenneth Patchem. The verso shows a map with mobilization points and a donation slip. Measures 8.5" x 11". The second is for "Festival Of Growing Things" at Mt. Tamalpas Outdoor Theater, San Francisco, Jul 1-2, 1967, with line-up including Quicksilver Messenger Service and Big Brother And The Holding Company. The third is for "Thunderbird Peace Festival" at Capilano Indian Reserve, North Vancouver, September 6 & 7, 1969, including Country Joe And The Fish, Steve Miller Band and Jethro Tull. Measures 8.5" x 11". The fourth is a handbill for a series of Country Joe And The Fish shows in Vancouver, March 21-25, 1967. Measures 8.5" x 11. The fifth is for a "Save Canyon Benefit", at St Mary's College, Moraga, dated July 24, including Country Joe And The Fish, Ace of Cups and Joy of Cooking on the line-up. Measures 8.5" x 11". The last item is a handbill for a "Strike Benefit", at the Fillmore, Auditorium, February 5, 1967, featuring Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Country Joe And The Fish.
