Description
Chuck Berry 1969 Buffalo, New York Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising rock 'n' roll founding father Chuck Berry in concert at Kleinhan's Music Hall in Buffalo, New York on Sunday, March 23, 1969.This was still 3 ½ years before "My Ding-a-Ling," and came at a time when Chuck was appearing at places like Bill Graham's Fillmore Auditorium out west to spread his rock 'n' roll gospel to the young, hip, up-and-coming crowd.
Measures 14" x 22" and grades to Very Good condition. Wear & tear of a dirt/grime nature in the white areas, particularly in the two vertical margins. A bit of surface scuffing to the black. About a three-inch horizontal surface crease in the very top center of the black area. Lightly bumped and tiny-creased corners all around. COA from Heritage Auctions.
