Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Hot Lips Page 1949 Large French Concert Poster. An original and very rare vintage concert poster from Paris, France for the International Jazz Festival of 1949. A big array of jazz stars are present on the poster, including Charlie "Bird" Parker and his quartet of musicians, Miles Davis, Hot Lips Page, Sidney Bechet, James Moody, Toots Thielemans, Django Rheinhardt and many others.

It's a huge, beautiful, commanding advertising poster that would look amazing in any music room. Printed on thin wheat-paste paper of the day, this poster measures 39 1/2" x 59" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Was originally folded down into eighths so has those natural factory creases, although none break color. There are a couple of tears at the very top center edge with no missing paper, just folded under flaps, and neither touches the red. Same with a couple of other smaller edge tears, such as to the left of "Italie" in the bottom left area. Upper left corner has a two-inch crease and a little crumpling. General toning throughout.
