Description
Carl Perkins Al's State Line Club Concert Poster (1959). Extremely Rare. Window card for a show in Hobbs, New Mexico on Mon. Nov. 23. The poster includes a head and shoulders image of Carl Perkins, and announces ""Mr Blue Suede Shoes" / and his Boys", with support act Doug Bowman and the Road Runners. Printed by Hatch Show Print, Nashville. Measures approximately 14" x 22". In Very Good condition with two heavy creases from the poster having been quarter-folded, as stored by the printer, with wear to corners and edges, some yellow printer's stray ink, inscribed on the back "1959".Early Carl Perkins posters very rarely feature images of the Rockabilly star.
