DescriptionBob Dylan Joan Baez 1965 Eric Von Schmidt-Designed Handbill Graded 9.2 (AOR-1.101). An original first-printing Bob Dylan/Joan Baez paper advertising flyer for their joint spring 1965 tour that was withdrawn shortly after getting initial use. The late folksinger and respected artist Eric Von Schmidt designed this popular Toulouse-Lautrec-inspired concert piece. This specimen remains unused, with no printing in the venue box at the top left. As such, it was graded to be in stellar 9.2 condition by CGC (Certified Guaranty Company), the industry standard for condition-grading vintage concert pieces.
Measures 5 ½" x 9 1/2" and grades to Near Mint 9.2 CGC-graded condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
More Information: The Dylan-Baez combination has proven to be one of the most idolized and enduring of all 20th century pop-culture pairings. Both artists are still going strong on the concert trail (when there's no pandemic going on), and Ms. Baez has remained available for interviews for the most important Dylan documentaries, the most recent being the critically acclaimed Rolling Thunder Revue – A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorcese on Netflix last year.
