    Description

Bob Dylan Isle of Wight Event Poster (1969). Approximately 150,000 people attended the second Isle of Wight music festival on the tiny island's Wootton location. Bob Dylan, fresh from a long retreat following his 1967 motorcycle crash, appeared with the Band, who opened the set with selections from their first album. A veritable who's who of British Rock acts also appeared at the three-day event, including Fat Mattress, the Pretty Things, the Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, King Crimson, and of course, The Who. This double-wide poster, with a great portrait of Dylan in dark glasses, measures approximately 34" x 22.5", and is in VG condition, with moderate edge wear.
