Description

Bob Dylan Group of Eight Unused Concert Tickets from the Legendary 1966 World Tour, Syria Mosque, Pittsburgh (1966). Eight 3.75" x 1.5" cardstock tickets for a Sunday evening concert, February 6, 1966, all in different colors for various sections of the venue, with prices ranging from $2.50 to $4.50 (we remember those days fondly). This was the third stop on a momentous tour, the first in which Dylan employed an electric backing group, The Hawks (you may know them as The Band). Dylan had "gone electric" in 1965 at Newport to the dismay of his folkie fans but to the delight of the rockers. This concert had both acoustic and electric sets, and came at a time when he finished up the sessions for his Blonde on Blonde album. This particular concert was released in 2016 as Disc 33 of The 1966 Live Recordings Box Set. All tickets in Excellent condition.
