    Bo Diddley/Fats Domino Municipal Auditorium Biggest Show Of Stars Concert Poster (1961). Extremely Rare. Jumbo window card printed in Dayglo colors on card stock for "The Biggest Show of Stars for 1961 Spring Edition", in Topeka, KS, on Wed. Apr. 26. The poster features a breathtaking R&B lineup with all eight acts pictured, and a recent hit song listed, including: Fats Domino and his Orchestra, "What A Price"; Chubby Checker, "Pony Time"; The Shirelles, "Will You Love Me Tomorrow"; Bo Diddley, "Gunslingers"; The Drifters, "I Count The Tears"; Ben E. King, "Spanish Harlem"; Chuck Jackson, "I Don't Want To Go"; and The Shells, "Baby Oh Baby". Printed by "Globe Poster, Baltimore". Measures approximately 22 x 30.75". In Very Good condition, with a diagonal crease and small tear to upper right corner, wear and creases to corners and edges, general toning. Two paper labels with the new prices have been applied over the old prices.

    This poster was acquired by a fan who attended the show and removed it from a wall at the venue. The "Biggest Show of Stars" series produced by Globe are considered by many collectors to be the holy grail of boxing style posters. Four of the acts on this poster have been inducted in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
