    Bo Diddley/Big Brother and the Holding Company Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster FD-21 (Family Dog, 1966). The famous "Earthquake" poster, designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley for a pair of August, 1966 shows. Janis Joplin was still new to San Francisco when she and Big Brother opened for veteran rocker Bo Diddley here. The poster is a first printing, characterized by the blue outlines separating the letters of "Earthquake"; 1,000 copies are reported to have been printed. Poster measures approximately 13.75" x 20", and is in Very Good condition with corner tack holes and a stain in the lower right.
