Black Sabbath w/Ozzy Osbourne 1975 Seattle, WA Concert Poster. An original concert window card for the heavy metal titans playing in Seattle with Frank Marino's Mahogany Rush (misspelled on the poster) on September 12, 1975. Black Sabbath was on tour behind their Sabotage album, released in the summer of that year. The poster's simple, straightforward black & red design features a terrific photo of the band, top and center. Measures 14" x 21 ¾" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.More Information: The venue was also known as the Seattle Center Arena. Despite the harsh and grim sound of Sabbath, they were a hugely popular band. Seen as heavy metal pioneers for decades afterwards, they combined living a stark life in Birmingham, an interest in the dark arts, and loudness -- all from a band that started out as a blues band.
Condition details: tape on the verso, toning, and creasing/edge wear.
