Biggest Show of Stars 1958 Concert Program Starring Buddy Holly/Crickets, Duane Eddy, The Coasters & Dion. A somewhat large, 24-page program sold at the shows full of large photographs and bios of the stars. A terrific selection of 1950's hit-makers on here, including Buddy Holly & the Crickets, Dion and the Belmonts, Bobby Darin, the Coasters and twangy guitar-god Duane Eddy.

Other musicians on the tour included Clyde McPhatter (the former Drifter had a Top 10 this fall with "A Lover's Question"), Frankie Avalon (two Top 10 hits this year, "Dede Dinah" and "Ginger Bread"), the Elegants ("Little Star" was #1 this year), Bobby Freeman ("Do You Want to Dance" was Top 5 this year), Jack Scott ("My True Love" was Top 5 this summer), Jimmy Clanton ("Just a Dream" was Top 5 this summer), the Olympics ("Western Movies" was Top 10 this summer), the Danleers ("One Summer Night" was Top 10 this summer), and Sil Austin and his Orchestra ("Slow Walk" was a Top 20 hit two years earlier). These are all mainstream pop-chart figures from Billboard.

Measures 9" x 12" and in Very Good Minus condition with scuffing to the front & back covers, creases from handling over the decades on both covers, and a small cigarette burn on the back cover which bleeds through to a few inside pages but doesn't do much damage. Still fully enjoyable if not a totally clean copy. COA from Heritage Auctions.
