BG-7 Quicksilver Messenger Service 1966 Fillmore Auditorium Concert Poster Signed by Wes Wilson. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Quicksilver Messenger Service and Final Solution at the Fillmore Auditorium on May 20 and 21, 1966.

Known as BG-7 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was signed by the poster's creator, Wes Wilson, in pencil down in the lower right corner. Wes was known as the dean of San Francisco psychedelic poster artists, having designed 45 of the first 50 Bill Graham concert posters, and the first 10 Family Dog posters as well. Sadly, Mr. Wilson just passed away earlier this year.

This was the totally original five-man QMS line-up with Jim Murray on guitar, harmonica and vocals. He would leave the following year before the band recorded its first album.

Measures 14" x 20" and graded Very Good Plus. Six tiny staple holes in the upper left corner; four in the upper right; two in the lower left corner and another two 1 ¾" above that, still totally in the white area; and likewise on the right side. Surface creasing in the top center of color image, in the black & white QMS area and through the "F" in "Fri.," but you have to hold the poster at an angle to see them. They're more visible on the verso. Very light creasing in upper white margin. Small bends to both lower corners. Extremely light brown foxing or staining in upper right corner area. Despite all these minute flaws, basically a beautiful specimen with a perfect Wes Wilson signature and colors as true as the day it was printed.
