BG-57 The Byrds, Moby Grape 1967 San Francisco Concert Poster Graded 9.8. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Byrds, Moby Grape and Andrew Staples performing at both the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland over the weekend of March 31-April 2, 1967. Known as BG-57 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was designed by Wes Wilson and graded a high-flying 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company).

The Byrds were playing in support of their new album, Younger Than Yesterday, their fourth studio effort. Their new single, just hitting this week, was a cover of Dylan's "My Back Pages"; their previous single two months ago had been "So You Want to Be a Rock 'N' Roll Star."

Moby Grape was smack dab in the middle of recording their debut album for Columbia Records down in Hollywood, Moby Grape. It would be released two months hence to much fanfare. And Andrew Staples was a five-piece band, not an individual. Their music has been described as "abstract-baroque-psychedelic."
