Description

BG-200 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young 1969 S.F. Concert Poster Signed by Randy Tuten, Graded 9.0. First-and-only printing San Francisco concert poster for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Cold Blood, Joy of Cooking and Lamb playing at Winterland on Thursday through Sunday nights, November 13-16, 1969. Designed by Randy Tuten and known as BG-200 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was signed by Tuten down in the lower right. It was then graded to 9.0 Very Fine/Near Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company).

This folk-rock fearsome foursome was white-hot by now, with the Crosby, Stills & Nash album firmly entrenched in the nation's top 10 LPs and the trio's "Suite: Judy Blues Eyes" in Billboard's national top 30 singles at this moment. Designer Tuten chose to use mostly photographs to carry his poster, placing the correct picture under each name - with Neil Young's photo stealing the day.

Measures 14" x 21 1/2". From the David Swartz Concert Poster Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
