Description
Beatles Candlestick Park Concert Poster AOR-1.115 (1966). Original Wes Wilson-designed poster for the Beatles' show in San Francisco on August 29 with opening acts the Cyrkle, the Ronettes and the Remains. Measures 17.25" x 24.25". In Very Good condition with several pinholes, several creases, particularly to right edge, small area of loss to blue area below "c" in "come".Literature: See Grushkin, Paul, The Art of Rock Posters from Presley to Punk, Abbeville Press, New York, 1987, p.64 (illus.).
This concert was to be the Beatles very last real show, for an audience of approximately 25,000 screaming fans.
