DescriptionArthur Gunter Jeannie & Bobby's Motel Concert Poster (1955). Very Rare. Window card printed in orange and black on card stock for a show in Fayetteville, TN. The poster features a head shot of Gunter and lists recent hits "Honey Babe", "Baby Let's Play House" and "Blues After Hours". Printed by Hatch Show Print, Nashville. Measures 13.75" x 21.75". In Very Good condition with two heavy creases from the poster having been quarter-folded, as stored by the printer, with wear to corners and edges, traces of printer's red ink in places.
Arthur Gunter wrote and recorded "Baby Let's Play House" in 1954. It went to no.12 on the Billboard Charts. Elvis Presley, famously covered the song the following year, and it was released as his fourth single on Sun Records. It reached no. 4 on the Billboard Country Charts.
