    Andy Warhol/Velvet Underground/Mothers of Invention BG-8 Fillmore Concert Poster.
    First printing of this marvelous and popular early Bill Graham poster from the spring of 1966, in very affordable condition. Known as BG-8, this classic poster advertised a three-night stand of "Po-Op Rock" at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium, May 27-29. Presented by "Andy Warhol and His Plastic Inevitable." Performing were the Velvet Underground with "Nico 'Pop Girl of '66?'" plus Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention, all in Wes Wilson's classic rolling lettering.

    Measures 14" x 20". In Good condition with tape marks on the edges, creases, fold marks, staple tears in the center, a 1.5" tear in the center, a .5" tear from the left center edge, and likewise a .5" tear in the upper left margin. A great starter-grade piece in extremely presentable condition, printed before the shows, for those who don't wish to pay a fortune for the high-graded ones. COA from Heritage Auctions.
