Description

Alice in Chains 1992 Portland Concert Poster Signed by Designer Mike King. A striking poster from 1992 when grunge seemed like the biggest thing on the planet: Alice in Chains headlining at the Melody Ballroom. The band and their contemporaries (Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam) were headliners everywhere they went and selling millions of records to a generation that was over '80s hair metal. Alice in Chains' Dirt was about to arrive in stores on September 29. It spawned a handful of hit singles on radio and MTV. The band at the time featured bassist Mike Starr, who was later fired from the band in 1993 and replaced by Mike Inez.

Poster measures 11" x 17". Offset printed. Signed by designer Mike King in the bottom right corner in pencil. Grades Near Mint Minus condition; has handling wear throughout and light creasing in spots. COA from Heritage Auctions.
