Alice Cooper 1988 Long Beach, CA Concert Poster. A bright and hot-colored poster for an Alice Cooper concert in early 1988 at the Long Beach Arena with Motörhead and Faster Pussycat as openers.

Alice was on tour promoting his Raise Your Fist and Yell LP, and its stage show was a reflection of where mainstream horror and a certain kind of heavy metal were at the time: very gory and goofy. Alice had recently filmed a small role (when he originally wanted to visit his friend, director John Carpenter) for Prince of Darkness, and he had a song of the same name on the album. The album also featured Robert Englund, the man behind the iconic horror villain, Freddy Krueger, from the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise.

His stage show (known as "Live in the Flesh") was so violent that it had to be altered in order for him to play in Germany. But for this show at the famed Long Beach Arena, it was the full, unaltered show.
