Albert King, Big Mama Thornton 1969 Boston Tea Party Concert Poster. An original pre-show concert poster for the "King of the Blues Guitar," Albert King (B.B. King was the "King of the Blues," period) plus R&B legend Big Mama Thornton (originator of "Hound Dog") performing at the Boston Tea Party in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday thru Sunday, April 18-20, 1969. Nice original artwork by frequent BTP poster artist Eric Engstrom on this piece; notice Albert was one of the rare left-handed guitar players in rock and blues history. More Information: There are pinholes in the top two corners. There is light black smearing around the radio station call letters, but that might be a printer's anomaly, not damage. The upper right corner has a miniscule ½" diagonal crease, very minor. Strong toning to the white paper throughout.
