ROCK A-Z CONCERT POSTERS
AC/DC 1976 "Farewell Performance" Sydney, Australia Concert
Poster. Billed as a "Farewell Performance" for the Australian
hard rock greats at the infamous Bondi Lifesaver venue (open all
during the 1970s), this was obviously not the band's final show.
After two successful LPs released only in their homeland, the band
was about to break big worldwide. Then fronted by their second
vocalist, Bon Scott, the Young brothers laid down a straightforward
approach to 4/4 beats and power chords. Coupled with a sense of
humor, the band was saying goodbye to their hometown pride and off
to conquer the world. Measures 40" x 30" and grades to Very Good
condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
More Information: Has creasing around the edging, as well as toning on the verso, along with some minor edge tears, light soiling, tape lifts on the verso, and a small yellow spot on the top of the verso.
