Description

William Speer Shirtless Elvis Presley Photo Print (1955). Here's another one of the famous set of twelve photographs taken of a 20-year old Elvis, from the days when he was an aspiring performer barely known outside of Memphis or the Louisiana Hayride. Elvis and his then-manager, Bob Neal, walked into the photography studio of Will and Vancil Speer for a few publicity shots, with Hollywood in mind. Will's wife, Vancil, talked the shy young man into posing for a few shots without his shirt. This b&w glossy print measures 11" x 14", and was made from the original negative by Will Speer, probably in the late 1970s or early '80s, and is in Excellent condition.
