Where the Boys Are, a pioneering teen comedy-drama centered on spring break escapades in Fort Lauderdale, marked Connie Francis's film debut and featured her breakout title song-now a staple of early 1960s pop culture. Connie Francis passed away in July 16, 2025, at age 87. She was a pioneering female pop performer and the first solo woman to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100-her 1960 hit "Everybody's Somebody's Fool" achieved that milestone.
