    The Beatles Group of Four Michael Ward Lithographs Taken February 19th, 1963 with Embossing Stamp. On February 19th 1963 the Beatles were informed that "Please Please Me" had reached number one in the U.K. singles chart. That was also the day that they met Michael Ward. He was commissioned to photograph the Fabs for a magazine. 1) Group shot of the Beatles under the Litter Bins sign; 2) Ringo Starr lighting a cigarette at the Cavern Club; 3) Ringo Starr in Liverpool; 4) John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr walking outside in Liverpool. Each limited edition lithograph measures approx: 12 1/2" wide by 16 3/4" tall. On 300gsm archival paper and is official with Michael Wards embossing stamp

    Michael Ward was a well respected photojournalist and his brush with the Beatles captured a brief period in time before Beatlemania took hold of the world. In overall Near Mint condition and ready to frame for display.
