    Description

The Beatles Ed Sullivan Show Vintage Contact Sheets. A set of four b&w 8" x 10" contact sheets featuring a total of 39 images from the Beatles' historic February 9, 1964 live performance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Images include shots of Sullivan, the audience, the band, and other guests before, during, and after the show. It was the band's first live American television performance, and it exposed the country to its first real dose of "Beatlemania"; it was also ranked as the most watched TV episode ever (viewed by more than 23 million households), until eclipsed by the series finale of The Fugitive in 1967. A great set of images, in overall Very Fine to Excellent condition.
